This Level 1 Certification is the foundation for professional obstacle course racing coaching. We bridge the gap between "doing" and "teaching."
After completing the in-person training, candidates receive access to the online course platform to complete the certification process. Submissions are reviewed by USAOCR staff for accuracy and completion. Upon approval, you will be awarded the official USAOCR Level 1 Coach Certification.

FAQs
1. Will I need to complete both the in-person and online programs to be certified?
A. An individual can register for either the in-person or online program. Both types of courses will certify an individual for Level 1 Coaching.
2. What is the difference between the in-person and online certification courses?
A. The online certification works in conjunction with the in-person course. The in-person led course provides hands-on experience and will go over most of the case studies and lecture material together in a group setting. However, the online certification is a self-guided certification is accessible to everyone nationwide.
